The idea behind
JU-SE is easy
The idea behind JU-SE is simple: bringing people in the village together – through conversation, small gestures and real everyday solidarity. At a time when life often feels anonymous and individual, we want community and humanity to have a place again.
We are the Commission for Intercultural Living Together from Kanton Réiden. Our vision:
intergenerational networks that can grow naturally in the village – simple, flexible, without pressure, and with space for everyone.
In short: from Junior to Senior.
We are still at the beginning – and this website will grow with us.
For now, it is an information platform that will gradually be expanded and updated over the coming months and years.
Concept
As easy as saying HELLO
We were inspired by a concept that already works well in the village of Schwebach, in the municipality of Saeul: a local WhatsApp group and the use of the app Hoplr, where neighbours can:
- offer or ask for help
- share time
- pass on information
- organise small everyday support
- and much more!
This kind of community creates quality of life through joy, safety and trust. Everyone can contribute.

Agenda
JU-SE it!
We regularly organise themed events (see Agenda) to bring people from the neighbourhoods and villages together, to present our project and to promote the JU-SE WhatsApp group. The rules of the group are defined together, and then activated. The first people who are invited can immediately invite their neighbours. Step by step, the group grows through new invitations – creating a healthy, diverse and lively network. Our juniors can also join from a defined minimum age (children via their parents).
